100% Satisfaction Guarantee: For any reason within 5 days, buyer may return puppy and all paperwork to the seller for a replacement or a 50% refund of the purchase price.

10-Day Health Guarantee

Seller guarantees puppy to be healthy for a period of ten days from date of purchase. Puppy will come with a current health check. If within these first ten days, puppy is found to be unhealthy by a licensed veterinarian: Buyer may return for a replacement puppy. Seller must be notified within 48 hrs. of any illness or concerns whatsoever.

2 Year Health Guarantee

2-Year Health Guarantee

• The Seller offers a 2-year head-to-tail guarantee against hereditary defects and congenital abnormalities. 

• If any of these conditions arise and the dog is diagnosed with a disabling condition, or requires euthanasia, the Buyer is entitled to a replacement puppy.

Meadowbrook Health Guarantee

Puppy Purchase Agreement & Health Guarantee

This Agreement is made between Meadowbrook Poodles and Doodles (hereafter referred to as the “Seller”) and the undersigned Buyer (hereafter referred to as the “Buyer”).

 

1. Puppy Reservation and Payment

• A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to hold a puppy of choice.

• Should a Buyer decide that no puppy from the litter is to their liking, the deposit may be transferred to a future litter for up to 2 years.

• Deposit Methods: Deposits may be made by Cash, Money Order/Money Gram, Personal Check, Venmo, or Zelle.

• The remaining balance is due in full before the puppy is delivered.

• If there are any transaction fees associated with payment methods (such as Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App), the Buyer agrees to pay those fees in addition to the total price of the puppy. The Buyer may avoid these fees by paying the remaining balance in cash at pickup.

• Meadowbrook Poodles and Doodles reserves the right to exercise “FIRST PICK” from each litter, even if deposits are already made.

- Once the customer receives their puppy they have 5 days to do a vet check with their primary veterinarian or this contract is VOIDED. 

 

2. Shipping

• Shipping of the puppy is available through ground transport, air shipping, or the Seller may meet the Buyer partway for a fee.

• All shipping costs will be paid by the Buyer and must be paid in full 7 days before shipping.

 

3. Health Guarantee

• The Buyer has 5 days from the date of purchase to return the puppy and all associated paperwork to the Seller for a replacement puppy or a 50% refund of the purchase price.

10-Day Health Guarantee

• The Seller guarantees that the puppy will be in good health for 10 days from the date of purchase. The puppy will come with a current health check.

• If, within the 10-day period, the puppy is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian with a serious health condition, the Buyer may return the puppy for a replacement puppy. The Seller must be notified within 48 hours of any health concerns.

 

2-Year Health Guarantee

• The Seller offers a 2-year head-to-tail guarantee against hereditary defects and congenital abnormalities, including but not limited to:

o Epilepsy

o Heart Disease

o Liver or Kidney Disease

o Degenerative Myelopathy

o Progressive Retinal Atrophy

o Osteochondritis Dissecans

o Hypothyroidism

o Addison’s Disease

o Any other defect that significantly affects the puppy’s quality of life.

• If any of these conditions arise and the dog is diagnosed with a disabling condition, or requires euthanasia, the Buyer is entitled to a replacement puppy.

 

4. Exclusions from the Health Guarantee

The health guarantee does not cover:

• Non-hereditary illnesses or conditions.

• Viral or bacterial infections.

• Accidental injury or illness (e.g., ingestion of foreign objects, digestive system issues such as giardia, coccidiosis, etc.).

• Conditions arising from environmental factors such as contaminated food or water, stress, or poor diet.

• The onset of cancer or illnesses related to chemicals or foreign substances ingested by the dog.

 

5. Buyer Responsibilities & Health Issues

• Notification: The Buyer must notify the Seller within 48 hours of any diagnosis of a health issue, and provide written confirmation from a licensed veterinarian stating that the condition is hereditary or congenital and not the result of injury, illness, or aging.

• The Seller may request verification from a specialist in the relevant field, and the Buyer agrees to submit any relevant documentation to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) for further evaluation.

 

6. Medical Expenses

• The Buyer assumes full financial responsibility for any medical treatments, expenses, or veterinary care required after the puppy is in the Buyer’s possession.

• The Buyer acknowledges that the Seller is not liable for any medical costs incurred after the puppy is delivered.

 

7. Replacement Procedure

• In the event the Buyer is entitled to a replacement puppy under the terms of this Agreement, the Buyer agrees to return the affected dog to the Seller at their own expense. The Seller will provide a puppy of equal value when one becomes available.

• If a replacement puppy is not available at the time of the request, the Seller has up to 6 months to fulfill the replacement with a puppy from a future litter. The puppy may be from a different set of parents.

 

8. Additional Terms

 All puppies are sold on a spay and neuter agreement unless otherwise noted. If a customer is found breeding without breeding rights there will be a lawsuit judgement againt them for 10,000.00 per litter produced. No Exceptions! All judgements will be filed in Dent County.
